Ladybirds are friends in our gardens.  They’re a positive influence fighting against plant eating insects

ie. aphids, mites, mealybugs, scale.  The sight of one gives an immediate burst of pleasure and a smile.  

Ladybirds are also known for good luck and when one lands on you….make a wish!  

Ladybirds have been a long time of passion of mine, their bright colours, positivity and tenacity to survive and

gorging up to 25 aphids in a day.

Years ago I started a Ladybirds Network with a long time friend to connect with business-like women in Melbourne

which grew well until other important matters took over.  This original ladybirds logo created

then is admired for its strong graphic colours of red, black and reversed white spots which is unique, iconic,

highly attractive and transfers well.

 

Time was more bountiful during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, and it was used it to resurrect

an idea of painting ladybirds on rocks. Initially created for a friend - another ladybird obsessor as a birthday gift.  

I followed a vision to paint this unique ladybirds logo on various size rocks and she was ecstatic

on their arrival by post and put them in her pots on her balcony and loves them every day…..“A bunch of love!”  

More were created for friends with euphoria, now known as ladybirdsloverocks  because people buy them

to give to friends, family and colleagues to bring happiness, love and joy.

Along the way ladybirds.com.au was developed as a way of selling ladybirdsloverocks in lieu of closed local markets

and allowed my vision, values and merchandise experience to be realised to expand ladybirds into unique quality home

decor items to be shared and enjoyed, now all over the world.
